The 2nd International Conference on PreHypertension & CardioMetabolic Syndrome
Prehypertension was defined by the VII JNC report as systolic blood pressure : 120 to 139 mm Hg and and diastolic blood pressure 85 to 89 mm Hg. The ESH/ISH guidelines define prehypertension as borderline blood pressure values as high normal blood pressure values.

Seminar Awam Hipertensi
Sampai saat ini hipertensi masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) tahun 2007 menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi hipertensi di Indonesia (berdasarkan pengukuran tekanan darah) sangat tinggi, yaitu 31.7% dari total penduduk dewasa. Bahkan Profil Kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2007 menunjukkan prevalensi hipertensi lebih tinggi lagi di Pulau Jawa, yaitu 41.9%.
